Hello Jessica, I totally adore the fabrics you chose to create this fantastic quilt! I usually go for a more traditional style of pattern, but am very flexible on fabric choices (there are just far to many gorgeous, unique and perfect to work with) available to stay in one area. Yet, your pattern is such an eye catcher, I know I would make it a couple of times! Thank you for sharing your fantastic photos and quilt! Have a great day!
Let’s Travel through the Shades of Autumn with Dan Morris
“This is the first time I have designed a Fall/Harvest collection for RJR. I focused on the traditional icons and colors associated with the fall season. I wanted this collection to be timeless and versatile to compliment a variety of quilting projects and home décor. The colorations are inspired by the rich, vibrant shades of New England fall foliage. I have often enjoyed driving country roads throughout New England to take in the changing of the season.”
“The panel design is extremely versatile. The individual squares in the focal panel print measure 5 ¼ inches. They can be fussy cut individually or combined and used in a multitude of ways— grouped in fours and pieced together in a larger panel, combined in rows for borders or in elongated projects, such as table runners, and so much more.”
To celebrate the changing of the seasons, we’d like to share a fat quarter bundle of Dan Morris’ fabric collection, Shades of Autumn. To be entered in to win a fat quarter bundle, please leave a comment below about your favorite part of the changing of the seasons for Fall.
